Hey guys! Now that I have all this time on my hands, I’m getting back into digital painting. I barely touched the program all senior year; luckily I don’t feel too rusty.
I painted this in about 5 hours the other day, using a pencil-mimicking brush. What do you think? Granted, its not a really super detailed piece, but I’m trying to give my portraits some personality (as opposed to the vapid pleasantly smiling girls I drew in HS.)

Are you using those new strange simulated brushes from photoshop cs5? You got a wacom and shit?
If I ever have money I’m going to have a power-house PC with all my editing shit on there, and 2 screens: one for doing all your normal screen business, and a second that’s one of those amazing wacom/screen combos. In my dream it will be embedded in some sort of drawing table.
And I’ll be able to control everything with my mind.
HAHA
I left a comment that didn’t post! Anyways, Anja is super hot and scary. The way her hair is flowing outwards I can picture her hovering towards me demonically licking her pop. I also really like the background texture you created
Thanks, guys! I’m still using CS4, but I did use a ton of brushes and my trusty Intuos tablet. *hugs tablet*
Hey, if you ever have the money, you can get one of those sweet Cintiq tablets, where you draw everything on the screen… They’re freakishly expensive, but so so cool!
I Don’t like the cintiqs….It hurts my little baby shoulder. If you were a ninja master and could control you hand eye coordination, you wouldn’t want no stinkin cintiqs
